I have been studying the Bible since 1980. My interest was drawn to the Bible when someone showed me a method of study that I have been using for the past 28 years. After prayer he choose a text, identified a few key words and had us look up these words in the concordance. It was incredible, I have never seen anything like it. The text that had such an obscure meaning was brought to life when we took the spiritual meaning of the words given in other text and we applied it to the text we were studying. The Bible explains itself and you need no other sources to obtain this knowledge.
Since that time I have found that this is not a new method of study at all. I have found many places in the Bible that explain how to use this simple method. The study “Bones” shows that if the people that crucified Jesus would have looked up the word BONES in the scriptures they would have seen He was the SON OF GOD. Some did take the time to look, see Acts chapter 6. Others did not.
I have also collected examples of others that have used this same method and it has been used through out history up until about 100 years ago. Jesus taught this method in the parable of the sower and other parables.
I have collected nearly 400 meanings to spiritual words. I know other people that have found nearly 1000. If there is a text that you do not understand, contact me. I have over 300 studies on my computer.
I have been trying to make these studies easier to understand and I have been relying on feed back from people to make these studies more appealing. I would greatly appreciate your comments. It is not me, it is only my time, the Bible and the Spirit. You can do the same.
I love digging in the WORD! And yes it is remarkable how it explains itself..but without the HOLY Spirit it is not likely to read and understand spiritual things..you have a very interesting blog…and I will come back and read again..thanks for stopping and commenting on my blog. your link is coming through with your name..that is in your profile page…scrolldown and make sure you fill in the web address to your blog and then save..that should fix it..unless you don’t want to. :) have a great day in the Lord!
